Ariel Brady is a Hopkins, South Carolina, native who discovered her love for the hospitality business during her years as a student at the University of South Carolina’s College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management.
Her passion for hospitality management landed Brady a job as a hostess at Motor Supply in 2011 while she was an undergraduate. Over the next few years, Brady served in multiple positions at Motor Supply — from back-of-house intern to front-of-house intern, head server assistant, server and bartender — before formally becoming assistant manager in 2018.
Having grown up on a small farm herself, Brady appreciates Motor Supply’s farm-to-table menu and sustainability efforts. She is an avid supporter of incorporating sustainability practices into daily life and enjoys working for a restaurant that constantly finds unique ways to repurpose, minimize or reuse products rather than turn them into waste.
One of Brady’s favorite aspects of her job as assistant manager is working alongside a passionate, talented group of people who are always excited to share their knowledge with each other and guests.
In her spare time, you can find her out and about with her husband and dogs, kayaking, traveling and exploring the food scene of nearby cities.
